Since joining Hyde Park Angels, Dan has played an active role connecting with and learning from 100s of entrepreneurs across the Midwest. Through his work, he has had the chance to work closely with HPA portfolio companies Branch Messenger, FourKites, Luxury Garage Sale, PopularPays and Tiz, among others. In his work for HPA, Dan leverages extensive experience in retail, merchandising, supply chain management, and operations. Before Hyde Park Angels, Dan worked at Target Corporation, where he worked to modernize Target’s $70B+ supply-chain for the Omnichannel era.
At Target, Dan helped build systems and processes to make it easier for millions of customers to purchase, deliver, and pick-up products when and where they want. He supported Target’s Apparel & Accessories pyramid, helping drive $14B in sales by creating specialized solutions to ensure Target stores had the right inventory at the right time. Before his most recent role, Dan managed supply chain and inventory for Target’s Kitchen Appliance, Patio and Men’s Apparel e-commerce businesses. In this role, he worked closely with buyers to create the assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies for these businesses.
Dan graduated with honors from the University of Chicago, where he studied Economics and History and was an all-conference performer on the Track & Field team. He is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he focuses on Entrepreneurship and Finance.
