What they do: Digilant uses data science to deliver display, video, mobile and social campaigns to the right audiences at the right time. The company is currently looking for a Chicago-based director of sales to drive sales across the Chicago and Midwest markets. To be considered, you’ll need at least three to five years of experience in high-growth media sales and a strong track record as an individual contributor.

Sales job: Director of Sales

Perks and culture: Digilant offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefit package that includes health, life and disability insurance, a matching 401(k) and an uncapped paid time off policy.

What they do: With a founding team that includes the founder of YCharts and a CTO who previously led engineers at Amazon.com, RepIQ is on a mission to streamline the sales process with data-driven suggestions. The company is currently looking to make its first sales hire, so if you’ve got five years of sales experience and a solid grip on the SaaS landscape, this might just be your shot to get in early on something huge.

Sales job: Sales Executive (First Sales Hire)

Perks and culture: As sales executive, you will report directly to CEO Shawn Carpenter and be part of devising the company’s go-to-market strategies. Expect travel and to work hard as part of an ambitious team.

What they do: Tiz makes it easier for restaurants, bars and hotels to stock up on beer, wine and spirits. Founded last year by Taylor Katzman, who formerly managed the Midwest market for Drizly, the company brings transparency and efficiency to an industry ripe for disruption.

Sales job: Business Development Manager

Perks and culture: Having raised $1.35 million in its first year of existence, Tiz offers many of the perks of working at a startup while avoiding some of the bigger downsides. Hires can choose between working from home or at the company’s River North office, and get a base salary, commission and coverage for all business expenses.

What they do: UrbanBound lets companies cast a wider net when looking for the best talent. Its cloud-based software manages every part of the employee relocation process, from finding a new home to booking movers, settling into a new place and getting to know the neighborhood. The company is scaling rapidly, and looking for salespeople to keep the growth going.

Sales jobs: Account Executive, Business Development Manager

Perks and culture: UrbanBound offers its employees discounts on memberships for its on-site gym, health and disability insurance, and unlimited paid time off. Employees also enjoy ample opportunities to bond together at company-sponsored outings, or while playing sports and attending events together.

What they do: FinancialForce builds apps on the Salesforce Platform that help companies manage their resources better and streamline collaboration across departments. As the company’s sales development representative, you’d work with a team of account executives to develop the sales pipeline and generate new business.

Sales job: Sales Development Representative

Perks and culture: Just like its core product, FinancialForce’s culture is all about promoting team cohesiveness, earning it recognition as a great workplace by Forbes Magazine not once but twice. The company’s Chicago team is headquartered in the Loop, only blocks from the Chicago River and lunchtime walks in Millennium Park.
