Building Rheaply’s Thought Leadership

3Points created and deployed an impactful PR and thought leadership strategy for Rheaply and its CEO, Dr. Garry Cooper.

Challenge

The challenge was to greatly expand Dr. Cooper’s thought leadership while executing our PR program for Rheaply, including earned, owned, and social media efforts. We also had to quickly switch gears to build up Dr. Cooper’s thought leadership related to the national and local COVID-19 response and racial justice discussion while tying those topics into his key area of expertise, the circular economy.

Outcome

We sought to translate that expertise into an analysis of issues society is currently facing. One of those issues was COVID-19, in response to which Rheaply had developed a few technology solutions. Overall, our efforts put Rheaply and Dr. Cooper in an optimal position to continue to further their mission and make an impact locally and nationally.

3Points built and successfully executed on a comprehensive strategy across earned, owned, and social media, which included the below impactful projects:
  • Prepared, coordinated, and drafted messaging for Dr. Cooper’s appearance in a City of Chicago press conference regarding the city’s COVID-19 response, which included the implementation of Rheaply’s technology to aid small businesses in obtaining PPE for reopening.
  • Pitched Rheaply’s COVID-19 technological solutions to Entrepreneur magazine, which helped secure Dr. Cooper a spot on the cover of the July issue featuring COVID-19 entrepreneurs.
  • Designed an intricate animated slide deck for Dr. Cooper’s keynote presentation at Circularity 20, the biggest event in the circular industry.
  • Pitched, secured, and built out a LinkedIn Newsletter for Dr. Cooper, which, as of the end of August 2020, has gained over 2,000 subscribers.
  • Coordinated a Reddit Ask Me Anything with Dr. Cooper where he answered 30 user questions about Rheaply’s COVID-19 response and PPE supply chain issues
